Good analysis as always. Interestingly I want both GMA and DeTomaso to do well for the sake of their potential future models. The idea of a 50K GMA car that wants to bring their principles to a more accessible demographic, I want that. And for Detomaso, how great would it be to have a modern interpretation of the Pantera?
Terrific piece SSO. It got me thinking that, while very successful now, Pagani is another company that is "completely reliant on one individual for its vision & credibility". I don't Horatio's age, but he's likely not far behind Gordon Murray. I'm also not sure how the coming age of the EV will impact these small manufacturers. Koeniggsegg has made the claim that they are "Powertrain agnostic" and they are they only Boutique Hypercar maker that has used more than one powertrain in their cars so far.

Thanks.
On Pagani, I believe his son is involved but not 100% sure.
EV is going to be tough for all of them. They will need to find a supplier for the tech and most will not want to deal with boutique type volumes.

Horatio doesn't travel much anymore. Christian is the one that flies everywhere for functions and such.
Your comments about vehicle servicing were very interesting as well. I have no idea where USA owners get their Paganis, Koenigseggs, and SCGs serviced now. Can you just take a Pagani to an MB dealer since it has an AMG Powertrain ? Will an owner be able to have a Valkyrie serviced at a typical AM dealer ? This issue definitely adds a complex dimension to ownership far beyond that of a Ferrari or Porsche.
