Not a GT3 RS with the retractable wing. Maybe 50th Anniversary Carrera RS (but I would expect fixed ducktail spoiler for that). Why do people think this is not a GT3 Touring - that seems possible to me...

I am talking about the exhaust note you will get. Speedster has indeed some sound deadner while the car is open top but what you get from top closed is not as loud as current 991.2

Times are changing. 991.2 RS gets regularly banned from tracks because of too loud stock exhaust. This included the Riing. When I was there quite a few cars had to have extra silencers fitted on their exhaust as to be sure to comply with the sound mesures.
Loud exhaust are not tolerated anymore. Even on tracks.
This 992 does not sound too bad at all. Less loud but still a nice type of growl.

I don't need to be the loudest guy in town, its character I'm after
I drove the 991.1 gts which had character and I just loved the way the engine opened up between 3-4000 revs.
that's what I am looking for and Porsche I am sure from the motorsport division will improve on the 991.2 ?

time will tell......
It should be faster around the Nordschleife and have a better motor (hopefully NA with ITB's and at least 20hp more than 991.2 GT3). I also think they will have a much improved tire monitoring system (possibly from the technology shown in the Michelin Connect with sensors in the tire tread and dash display of temp and pressure), wider track, larger wheels/tires, and better aero.
The rest is speculation...
