If General Motors delivers on the motor, purportedly a flat plane V8, then less emphasis is placed on the appearance, it will win in the marketplace. The C8 Corvette looks better in person than in images too.

Good point Leawood! With the issues encountered by Ford's 5.2 liter flat plane crank v8, it will be a tremendous embarrassment if GM's 5.5 liter v8 turns out to be far less troublesome.

A driving academy using the new C8 Corvettes. In Germany.

Our initial impression on the C8 being a world class level car isn't wrong.

It's fast and it can handles. And it would seems it's durable enough to be abused in a driving school.

Bravo to GM's current build quality.

I should know, our track had been partnering with GM for a few years now, hosting their Camaro Driving Academy. Our fleet of 20 Camaros in various specs have been close to bulletproof even being thrashed under track condition.

The GT3 RS needs more power. It has a too good of a chassis to deal with only 520HP.

Interesting as it shows the different times with different tire for the same car. Basically on that track a R tire is worth 2 sec.

The Corvette is impressive.
