Wonder how much deposit dealer confiscated from ordering buyer for this "unique" GT2. Should be interesting to see at what price this "unique" car finally sells....
Actually there is a 996 TT around my place in the exact same colour. It looks a little bit weird on the TT but since the GT2 is the even more extreme car I am actually fine with that. Still I am quite surprised that they can ask such a starting price!
This would definately be a car worth to consider but I'd say it is a bit too much for me right now...
I saw this car last weekend at Carrea Motors in Bend Or. On this car, orange works well with the all the black carbon fiber on it. But, any color would look good on this car.

Is "Gulf Orange" the USA market name for the pearlescent metallic paint which was a standard color from about '99 til '03 ("rotorangeperlcolor" in German)?. It looks like it, but I thought it was called Zanzibar Red.
Gulf Orange is just that... the color orange utilized by the gas company "GULF" whose color scheme is Orange, Blue, and White... hence those 70s cars were painted to match those colors cuz they were the factory team sponsors... like Mobil has been the sponsor through most of the 90s and even today.
VERY NICE . Gives the aggressive GT2 the right vibe. Blackening the wheel centers would complement the external carbon fiber and painting the sport seat backs orange would finish the interior since the orange stitching cries for it. Nice to see something other than yet another " resale silver " Porsche, MBZ, BMW, Audi ....
Would make a timely Halloween gift to oneself !
