    Backround on the video:
    The driver is Sergio Vallejo, he races a Porsche GT3 in the Spanish Rallye championship which he is also currently leading. This car amongst the boring hatchbacks that fill rallyes now a days is a sight to see twisting and slidding in the narrow rally roads... and also to hear. He has been on of my instructors at some track events I have participaped on, and has incredible skills, so smooth at the wheel.

    Good combination of audio and video tracks.

    Would have been even better if they had added a shot showing Karajan tracking driving his 959 back in the day. If I'm not mistaken, he used to track it.

    funny, I knew he was a sportcar/Porsche fan, but not to that extent!

    I also need to check that information before I claim it as a fact.
    I do remember seeing a photograph of him in a crash helmet at a track and I do know that he owned a 959, but I may be wrong when I combine those two items into one event.

    Thanks for that. I hadn't googled it yet, despite today being a rained-out public holiday here.

    I didn't "follow" Karajan's life, but several of those photographs looked very familiar nonetheless. I probably read an obituary feature or something back then.
