    Do the Gallardo & R8 have a two stage ESP?

    '007 Audi S6 with V10:

    The S6 has traction control and electronic stability control, which can be turned off in two stages: Press the ESP button once and the traction control is turned off. Holding the ESP button down for longer than three seconds turns off both traction control and the electronic stability control.

    Do all Gallardo's & R8's have the same two stage ESP program?

    Short answer is yes. And when it is OFF it is OFF! Unlike some other cars ESP will not go ON if you push brake pedal or enter the corner too fast. Control is in your hands only...

    BTW, the "two stage ESP" is not only in the S6, but in the A6 as well.

    in my gallardo , its a 1 stage , on or off . and yes it doesnt switch on under hard braking..
