Thank you for scanning and posting the article, Dreamcar
The reviews in the British car mags are so much more fun to read compared to the German motorpress
The author's description of the Roadster's handling is exactly what I observed when driving the car - so I guess I would share his opinion regarding the coupé also if I had the chance to drive it.
Of course the roads near Sintra don't really ask for a sports car (BMW would have done better to invite the journalists to some nice Bavarian alpine roads with smooth surface).
Anyway Mr. Richter won't be too happy with the review (clearly putting the Cayman above the BMW).
My conclusion: Boxster is the sportier and better handling Roadster (compared to the Z4), Cayman (in addition to the better handling) has advantages as a daily driver (compared to the Z4 Coupé).
Would be interesting to hear why two journalists wrecked their demo cars at the Estoril track (what went wrong ? unskilled drivers or unexpected bad habits of the cars
)
