My dealer said that my C2S is on the cargo ship Atlixco which was due to arrive at the port of Baltimore last weekend. Is anyone expecting their car on this ship? Is your dealer saying that the Atlixco made it to Baltimore? I ordered the car back in July and now that it is getting so close , I guess I am getting a litttle bit anxious...

Interesting... I wonder if Charleston is the second port of call after Baltimore (or, could it be the reverse??).
My dealer first told me that the ship was due to dock in Baltimore last Saturday, October 1st. The problem is that he told me today that the computer still shows that my car is "on vessel". Maybe, they forgot to unload my car in Baltimore...

Yep, I also stumbled on that info about the vessel Atlixco. Could not find any schedule for its arrival though... Also could not find vessel arrivals info for the port of Baltimore... Back to calling the dealer in the morning to see if the computer shows anything new...

Here is a press release from the Port of Brunswick, GA
"In April 2002, Porsche Cars of North America moved its southeast distribution center to the Port of Brunswick."
They went on to say, "Amports (an automobile processor on site at the Port) handles auto processing for Volkswagen, Porsche, Volvo and Mitsubishi"
"Another player active in processing vehicles at the Port of Brunswick is Waggoners Trucking Company, the motor carrier moving BMWs from the plant in South Carolina to the Port in addition to transporting Porsche, Volkswagen, Audi, Hyundai, and Mitsubishi from the Port of Brunswick to locations across the country."
So, it doesn't appear that Porsche uses Charleston anymore.
