A computer will always be better ...... hummm, have we not heard all this when arguing PDK/ manual
So now, manual is ok if a computer helps to do it
I am all for PDK , but I am also all for manual
And I would not blush posting my own blipping sound file , even if not perfect
I'm with you Gnil, if I want a manual, I don't want an auto-blip, thats the point of a manual, to be involved in the whole shifting process from start to finish, so what if the execution is worse than a computer assisted one? manual is not about laptimes or perfect shifts. Part of the fun in the manual is trying to get good shifts and the rewards when you do, by yourself.
Not saying this has to be the same for everyone, to each his own I guess, but for me this is very clear.
On the PDK however, its the opposite, I want all the computer nannies to make it the most efficient, fast and perfect shifts possible.
