    spongy breaks and leaking intercooler.

    I`m getting fed up with my x50.Last year I had the whistle like noise ,had it fixed at werk 1,now at 6000km my intercoolers started to leak fluid,& the breaks are so spongy the pedal travel is too deep. This is my 6th 911 since my 1st 930.&the most unreliable car I ever had .even worse than both 8cyl &12cyl ferraris. "It pisses me badly off". sks

    Calm dude, s... happens!!!
    I know how you feel though, annoying.
    Maybe you're just not meant to have a Porsche?
    This is a lot of bad luck though, especially with a brand that's famous for its reliability!
    Have you thought about any other alternative?

    Have you file a complaint with Porsche directly?

    I bet you the result would be different than that of your dealer's.

    yes,maybe a vintage ferrari..something that I can tolerate problems.but not too old.

    forgot to tell you, the dealer even damaged my front rims!!!! I hope I`ll be happy again when the car comes back from service...or else I `m going to get rid of it.when you start to have problems one after another I start to loose this special feeling for the car...

    How are your intercoolers leaking fluid. The stock intercoolers on the 996tt do not have any fluid circulating thru them. You better determine what is really leaking.

    sorry I meant coolers in the front,not the turbo intercoolers.the dealer wanted to replace the connection and the right cooler (where cooling fluid was leaking) I lost a whole lot of fluid,it was all over my garage.if i have to put a bucket or an oil pan to catch the mess, I rather have something different.,a car which I can tolerate these problems. sks
