I wouldn't necessarily call them interesting. This car has been show in a few car magazines before. But the shots are different here (where did you get these Ron? - Much better views of the car than previously shown). I know that this is a true Porsche Turbo Cabriolet prototype. Two reasons why:
1.) Those side vents are the identical camoflauge Porsche used on the 996 Turbo Coupe mules back in the day.
2.) A Porsche NA marketing exec admited to me at the most recent Atlanta Auto Show that Porsche will produce a 996 C4S Cab and a 996 Turbo Cab. Expect them around November for sure.
What worries me a little bit about this video: the 997 Cab seems to be pretty ready developped. I wouldn't be surprised to see the 997 for MY 2005 production already. So maybe the rumors that Porsche wants to introduce both, the new Boxster and the new 996 for MY 2005 (summer 2004) might be true. Surprise, surprise. I wonder if it is wise to introduce a 996 Turbo/C4 S Cab now. I'd say not.
