    987 mirrors

    Anybody here knows whether the 987's new mirrors fit on a 986?

    Dont think they do, but you can buy 9987-style mirrors with built-in blinkers. Just cant remember where I saw them...

    You probably saw them on a 987. They don't have built in blinkers, but maybe you had one lager too many at the time

    Hehe...well, I actually saw unoriginal side mirrors with blinkers for the 986.
    I'll see if I can find the site.

    Yea, I saw them too. But they are more BMW M3 style, not so much 987 style.

    I think Speed Art makes the blinking mirrors.

    We spent some time comparing the 987 and 986 mirrors and decided it would not be a simple swap. The mounds are different.

    What I thought was interesting is that the interior mirror for the 987 is the same as a 986. I like the oval shape because it matches all the oval shapes in a 986. Those oval shapes are gone with the 987 so the mirror looks funny to me in a 987.
