    yes so what? a 911 has totally different character.Even from AN SL65 that is quicker

    I agree it's an odd comparison. For those who don't speak German, Autobild's virdict is that the Porsche is the better sports car at the higher price.

    Against the SL55 maybe. Interesting to see the choice for comparisons outside the US.

    In the UK motoring Programme, Fifth Gear, they compared the SLK55 with an SL55... the SL55 clearly was the better, siting handling and poor 7 speed box as the biggest let down on the SLK....

    Anyway, agree with the rest of you - silly comparison in Autobild.
