    Stradale mileage report 8900 miles

    went in early [not at 10,000]. the CS is proving bulletproof "like a Porsche" and very mild on consumables.

    - 6% clutch wear at 8900 miles. Service mgr says not unuusual for him to see 50% wear in his 360 pool
    - 20% pad wear on first set of brake pads
    - rotors perfect


    all Strads need is oil and brake fluid changes!!!! "Like a rock", or is it "no substitute"?

    early at 10k? i thought it was 5k and 15k? what are the correct service intervals from say brand new to 20k miles? tia

    there's no sched. service at 10k, but Gary at autogallery rec'd an oil change and brake fluid at 10k

    Yes its 5K or one year.

    Watt your letting our little secret out. Most Porsche owners believe F-cars are maintenance nightmares. You should not lead them to believe otherwise.

    nick,

    the car is bulletproof. the 5K service was $1200. the only $ consumable is the clutch and it looks like it will last 100,000 miles. kind of reminds me of my 1983 911SC.

    what more can you ask for?

    well watt i am impressed , the last brake pads set on my 360 lasted me 6000km(approx 4000miles) ,and the clutch is showing 45% wear after 12000km. ur numbers are exeptional...i assume you dont drive in traffic jam??????

    I agree the brake wear for dhayek is atrocious. Something must be wrong. The F1 clutch will last around 20,000 in traffic and 30,000 highway.

    Nick,

    My pads were gone after 5K miles, my clutch was gone after 7K (F1 tranny, covered under warranty).
