    997 GT3 winter testing in Norway!!

    This is the new GT3 on a winter test in Norway according to a Norwegian magazine. The GT3 can be recognized by the centrally placed exhaust

    Is this a widebody or not? Hard to tell from these pictures..

    Rear wing reminds me of 993 GT2, great car, but the wing itself is bit OTT, not as nice as GT3 Mk2 IMO.

    I don't think this the wide body, after having seen a few 997 throughout the weekend, I can confirm that from certain angles, it looks really wide.

    Very nice pics. I want more

    The wing looks OK to me. Different from MKI ( ) and MKII ( ), but definitely "Porsche" (quite similar to the 993 RS ClubSport-wing).

    So the 997 GT3 comes with PSM, Nav, adaptive sport seats and a alacantara steering wheel????

    Intriguing.

    Can anyone make out the script on the tachometer just above centre? Seems that the tach goes up to 8 grand only...

    Another intriguing aspect....one of the cars is equipped with US style bumperettes....thus if this is the 997GT3...then I'd say it is coming to the US

    with paddle shifters this car could be really excellent fun. i just hope the RATIOS ARE CLOSE, SO THAT 0-100 DRIVING IS MAXIMIZED LIKE A STRADALE, just using cap.s to make sure Porsche hears me.

    Is the wing disguised?

    It looks odd as if it might be camouflaged...

    Presumably they are all on lobster forks with winter tires, rather than these being the real GT3 wheels.

    Also cars look like they have at least the -20mm option.

    Cool with the center exhaust. I wonder if it has a diffuser as well?

    I sure hope not. It would be annoying to have to rip it all out. (the wheel can stay)

    To me the rear wing looks way bigger for the car if seen from the side... Guess it's a matter of taste or getting used to it

    Why did they hide the side exaust holes in the rear bumper with black tape? Is the center exaust just a trick to make us think it's the Gt3 ? On all that snow I could imagine it to be a AWD... The photographer sould of looked at that !

    ...and the big wing does not seem to belong to this car. The inside of the car does not look like GT3...and the hole cut in the rear bumper for the center exaust looks like it hase been done with a saw in 5 minutes !!!!???????

    Just to reiterate in Watt's effective fashion.

    Porsche, PLEASE DON'T PUT A NAV SYSTEM ON THE GT3

    You'd think Porsche would listen to its potential buyers.
