I'm only an hour or so away from that track, but the problem is that shortly after those dates I will be turning in my 996C4 to the dealer for the 997S and I don't want to risk anything happening to the car at the track just before I turn it in 
so I don't want to track it now 
I know some from the spanish porsche forum that were there last year are going, they had a lot of fun last year.
BTW will you be winning this year's the regularidade trophy again?

Actually, from all the regular events Portuguese Porsche Club does, this is the only one that I go every year because it's the only one where we go to the track 
The other events are fine too, but no track, no J.Seven
. I'm far from being a pro on circuit, but I really like to make some hot laps in a closed enviroment with all the safety features.
More than the final result, the fun factor is playing on circuit with the toy. There are always GT3 and Turbos there, so I always "mess" with them a bit

Last year we had four groups of 7 to 9 cars. Group I is going to the small circuit to make the slalom tests while at the same time group II is going to big circuit for 30 minutes drive just for fun, no competition on the big circuit. Members of Group III and IV waite for their turn and watch the other groups on both circuits.
Then the groups switch positions. The circuit is open on Saturday from 9h to 17h just for Porsche Club members, but I believe you can only drive your car for two or three periods of 30min each.
There are also some race cars(911 RSR) where some members are invited to go along with a pro driver. Last year I had the chance to be one of them. Don't know if these cars are going to be there this year.

J.Seven are you going to the Porsche Portuguese Club Braga Event on April 9th?
I wish I had my 986 to go the Braga metting on April :/ My 987 has a build week 14, so that's the first or second week or April. Will only have it by May.
I'll probably drop by to see the "competition" one of the days. I'm a Porsche Clube Portugal member but never went to any event yet.
