    that time of the month again...

    we just hit 9200 miles and like clockwork the oil light came on as it does every 1k miles. time for at least another quart - but that's "normal". can't wait for this tramp to get menopause.

    Maybe you should trade it in for an S. At 43K miles I have yet to use even a fraction of a quart.

    Same here, 31K miles and have not had the need to add a single drop of oil (Cay S too).

    yep, porsche (though not most other manufacturers) turbos use more oil than NAs. my NA 996 never used any either.

    Ben: 22k miles and no oil usage... but my gf's turbo says service in 1900 miles after 800 miles using it, maybe it is the same thing as yours?

    sounds like it. they just reset the light. we've not had "that" problem since.

    Luckily my CT doesn't have any oil consumption issues, I've added one quart (no warning light, just routine check) in 14K miles. Interestingly enough, after the original set of problems I had with the car I haven't had a single problem since - other than the hesitation issue.

    Guys, you better cross your fingers when saying that "these problems" never happen to you again because I did the same thing and the next day, I had the altenator problem, it took them a week to fix it because they had to order the part from Germany.
