    When people ask what you drive, how do you answer . . .

    1) a Porsche;
    2) a Carrera;
    3) a 911; or
    4) a 911 Carrera.

    Me - I say a 911.

    Depends who I'm talking to. If it's someone who knows about 911s, I say a 4S, if it's someone who doesn't, then it's Porsche (with the "E")!

    A Porsche 911 for fun and sunny days, my trusty Ford Lightning for everything else.

    Beyond that it gets too confusing, we've got roughly 150 cars in our collection, so you never know what goofy contraption I'll pull up in...

    The only flaw in that, is that the fact that somebody ASKED you the question, means that they are keen to know. You give them an overly general answer, and they'll look at you funny and persist to find out exactly what it is. You may as well cut to the chase and get it over with, there's no way to look humble driving a flippin Bentley or Carrera GT Mike!!!

    Thats a fine example of understatement

    Ive found that most people think any Porsche costs a zillion dollars anyway so I never talk it up. Ive never had anyone specifically ask me "what do you drive" except insurance companies and hotels.
