405 hp from a 3.6 Litre engine is amazing, and I personally believe the car will be amazing.
Yes maybe a bit heavier, but by all means not by much.
PCCB mk2 will make it possible this time for track day enthousiast to get the option so the car will fly with the advantage of less non-suspended mass.
24 hp more than the previous model is in line with Porsche philosophy, it's been done in the past.
You will tell me that the Turbo gets almost 80 hp more compared to the outgoing model, but IMHO it's different, as RC has written before, the Turbo is a flagship model, it is targeting a very different type of costumer than the GT3.
For the potential Turbo costumer, hp sells.
So it makes sense that it has to align itself to the current competition who are all around 500 hp. I personally believe that the GT3 will be the more rewarding to drive (as always).
If you ask any 996 GT3 and 360 Stradale on the forum why they bought their car, I am absolutely confident that HP is not the primary reason.
F430 has almost 80 hp more than the Stradale and yet, I bet you Stradale owners will not switch, same for GT3 owners with respect to the 996 Turbo S.
Just my opinion Turbolite.
By the way, I like your nickname, everyone's dream, a 1350 kgs 996 Turbo!
