    Anybody take possession of a PASM - sport chrono 987S yet?

    If so, tell us about your impressions.

    My 987S is on the boat to the US. GTsilver/NBL, 19" Carrera S, sport steering wheel, sport seats, PASM, sportchrono, etc. It will join its "big brother" (seal grey '04 996tt) soon!

    Just out of curiosity, which month of production were you scheduled for?

    PASM yes - absolutely brilliant. Superb ride quality, not a bit harsh, no body roll at all, no front end dive on hard braking, even in normal mode. Sport mode IS too firm for normal road use. Sport Chrono - not got it, but driven a 987 S with it and it's a waste of time. Nothing like the sharper throttle response you get in a 997 "S". Only advantages I can think of are better response if you've got a tiptronic, and the various additional functions you get with PCM (sport chrono plus). But nothing is worth that stupid wart on top of the dash.
