    What happens to the extra cars?

    Looking at the production figues for the last ten years,

    What happens to all the extra cars that Porsche produces but does not sell? Some years the excess on 911s can be 1,000 cars or more.

    For example:
    94/95 +100
    95/96 +1000
    96/97 -19
    97/98 +1200
    98/99 -40
    99/00 -100
    00/01 +600
    01/02 +700
    02/03 +1000
    03/04 +2900

    The trend is going up. Where are these excess cars?

    They take them back to the factory put on the oval lights and sell them as 997's. No one would know the difference. That is the beauty of the "evolutionary design".

    no its ok, ive been trying to change mine for months (hint hint, RC, fix the software).
