    Yep, there's no wash, we need to carry watering cans, although I would spec it again, it's defiantly useful.

    Yep, there's no wash, we need to carry watering cans, although I would spec it again, it's defiantly useful.

    This phone headache will be resolved very soon; I'll post as soon as I hear something more concrete.

    No wash wipe when you order the rear wiper Blimey i was just wondering whether i should have ordered the rear wiper but now i am glad i didnt The rear wiper in the Uk would be useful for getting dust etc off the rear window,aswell as obviously useing it when it rains.I mean i often spray and wipe the front screen ,just to clear the dust and give a nice finish.

    Coincidentally, I just read the long term test review of the 911 in Evo and they mention how useless the rear wiper was without a wash function - they tried to clean a dirty window and just made it a lot worse. Have to say I'm glad I didn't order one as well now...

    Robbo, I half agree with you, in the first 2 days of my new car ownership it snowed and rained a lot and I used the rear wiper on several occasions, in my mind it was worth having, but that does not dismiss the fact that PO SHOULD have included a wash facility... a bit of a shame really

    It is a bit poor. I'm sure a wash facility will appear in the future as a cost option....

    Must admit though Med rear wiper would be handy in the snow/rain,i couldnt see much out the back window the other day when it rained hard, but hopefully the worst of the weather is over soon in the uk.

    I do have to say that this is the best combination for a 997S, Our seal grey is ok, but makes the car a bit "serious"(don't know if you understand)...

    The basalt with those rims= the best combination for the S

    med, try posting them in the members gallery and then paste the links of the uploaded photos in the post (if you can't manage to place the link I can do that for you after you uploaded them). And also that way they wil be available for all to see when they go to the gallery or for future reference and not be lost burried in this thread
