Looks great Watt. Nice colour.
How the hell did he manage to get into the car to back it out?
Haha Joe,
He's brought me many cars. Shoes off, climbs in window. He weighs no more than I, maybe 165, but a lot fewer spinal problems.
My surgeon banned me from LWB, so I was pleasantly surprised to be able to get in already
First Drive:
Interesting to name it the Roma - presume they meant my favourite fooball club as a child:), but this car as cultured and beautiful as it is, will have you dancing the csárdás to wild unruly Roma musicians.
Everything to hand and intuitive, twist the manettino to sport and there it stays, only 5,000 until 600 miles but clearly taught and nimble, a feel similar to the 997 GT2. Shifts are gorgeously fast. No word on acceleration til 600 miles... The vision out the front is wide and unblocked.
Very wide, barely fits in the garage, but lots of room inside, less tight than a 911. I had been concerned the screen would be too much too handle but once i figure out all the ac vents i'll be happy. Build is tight and perfect, interior quality extremely high.
Not sure how they built this for a Porsche price. More to follow.

Congrats watt. Looking forward to more of your driving reports.
Mine is on the boat. Should get it sometimes next month.

Just ripping around doing errands the Roma is very quick even just using 5,000 rpm. Even though curb weight is 3,400 lbs, it somehow feels lighter and more responsive than .2 Gt3- might be the steering.
Minor road trip tomorrow will tell more.

CGX car nut:Old mining camp? That tank on the lefthand of the first image looks interesting.
Yes silver lead mine -- off set head frame [the ore cars came down the cable from up the mountain, rather than up a shaft below] at 9500'. Winter mining up here could not have been fun. Our predecessors were tough. Tank probably a ball mill, to reduce the waste off the ore before the wagons carried the ore down the nasty steep road 5 miles to the valley,
