Lamborghini Aventador LP780-4 Ultimae – last atmospheric V12 Lambo
780PS (+10PS than the SVJ)
Modified version of the SVJ’s V12 engine combined with a chassis setup and aesthetic closer to the S.
1550Kg dry weight(+25Kg than SVJ)
600 units, (350 coupes and 250 Roadsters)
Does anyone know how the Ultimae drives compared to SVJ ? Same handling characteristics or softer ?
I hope the successor will offer a 2wd version too, not a fan of the current one with 4wd and single clutch box, it was a bad combination that made it feel like it was in bricked mode
Rossi:These look much better than the first couple of spy pics some weeks ago.
The car is beautiful, it looks smaller and more compact than the current Aventador but actually isn't.
1000+ hp so far...V12 hybrid...new gearbox...weight is basically the same (with hybrid).

Lamborghini releases powertrain information about the new LB744. With a new V12 hybrid powertrain, there’s hope that the Huracan replacement will retain a V10 configuration too. https://youtu.be/dhatC3hXp3U

The V12 Hybrid was clear from the start, the Huracan successor is a different story. So far, it seems to be a V8 hybrid but some very nasty rumors appeared early this year, even indicating a possible V6 Biturbo hybrid. It cannot be excluded that the Huracan successor gets both...A V6 and a V8 hybrid. I am quite sure there won't be a V10 anymore...but miracles have happened before.

V6 doesn't have to be nasty as illustrated by 296...
