Re: Aerokit ... in the snow

    dg911, thanks for sharing

I think the darker the color the better because the lines and shapes of the front that make it look too busy are not that visible. OTOH, the wing looks OK IMO, takes some getting used to like the MkI GT3 wing.

Re: Aerokit ... in the snow

Thanks for the pix . I love cobalt.

Re: Aerokit ... in the snow

Its 3600 quid on the website? For that much I think I will try and fashion one out of a Cornflakes packet, some double sided sticky tape and a bottle of washing up liquid.

Re: Aerokit ... in the snow

looks like they arent trying to hide it anymore

which means the GT3 can't be too far away but will the MK1 make it to the USA?

I have no doubt in my mind that the 997 GT3 will come to the U.S.. With this bad economy and somewhat lack of interest in the new 997 in the U.S. Porsche can't afford risking not bringing the 997 GT3 to the America.

They have to sell as many cars as they can right now.

What lack of interest and what bad economy? We are talking about the US, correct?

Re: Aerokit ... in the snow

    Bad economy??

    The election is over, pal.

I've actually seen quite a few 997's in this area. I'm not surprised to see one or two on the road everyday.

Re: Aerokit ... in the snow

Very nice pictures, thanks a lot.
I like the aerokit but without the wing.
I'd be interested to get the front part for my 997 CS but I'm afraid it won't be available without the rear wing.

Even though we have 7 dealers in LA county and OC only has one, I still have not seen a single 997 on the road yet, only one parked at LAX.

I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of those LA county sales went to OC buyers. I bought mine in LA county.

Re: Aerokit ... in the snow

    vtrader,
You should know that LA doesn't account for the entire U.S. economy. California is somewhat, to a certain extends, untouched by the economical down falls. The rest of the country and world are suffering by it.

If Los Angeles county were a separate nation, it would rank 14th in the world for gross product. Its gross economic output is larger than that of either the Netherlands, Australia, Russia, Taiwan, Argentina and Switzerland. GNP of California places it fifth among the countries of the world. And housing prices have doubled in the last four years and probably have made hundred of thousands of new millionaires.

So right now, we are not doing too bad.

Re: Aerokit ... in the snow

I'd be trying to hide that spoiler. I wonder if you can get the package and just not install it...

Re: Aerokit ... in the snow

I don't see any hardships in Houston either. Go to Ikea on the weekends, or even to Best Buy or the Great Indoors. Those places are mega packed. On the weekends most restuarants have 30-1 hour waits to get a table. Ton's of newer cars on the road (most SUVs). I just don't see it. At least not in Houston.

Cheer up .. Just put the wing on EBAY. Someone will
    buy it

Re: Aerokit ... in the snow

Sure someone will but it! It will probably end up as "outsized garish ornamentation on an asian import".

Re: Aerokit ... in the snow

    I love the wing!

Re: Aerokit ... in the snow

looks terrible where the f**k all the designers have gone?
