I have a Genie Max Pro that seemed to program without a hitch. Did the flashing red "learn" light go steady after the 1st push on the Homelink button and then did the light go out after the second push of the Homelink Button? If this doesn't happen, the garage door opener did not "learn" the Homelink transmitter. I had to do it twice. Also, the Homelink Transmitter in the Porsche did not light up immediately after pushing the botton. I probably had to hold it for a good 2 seconds before the yellow LED on the farthest right lit up. Good luck!

Alin, the problem according to my garage door mechanichs is the remote i'm using and not the unit itself .. can you tell me what remote you are using or take a picture of your remote - i'd appreciate it.. thanks.
What I did was erase the memory (hold buttons 1 and 3) till light flashed rapidly.
then press button one to program it until light flashed slowly, then went to try and program from the front of the car in many positions with no luck.
Thanks..

I know the problem .
if your garage door is old (5 hears or more) homelink doesn't work because it's radio frequence is not homologated . No WAY .
I have homelink on my cayenne .....I can't use it .

Patriot -- your directions worked like a charm. Thanks for taking the time to share what you learned from Homelink central command. By the way, I noticed Porsche's Homelink system only works with the ignition on. This is different from some other cars I have (or had) that can operate Homelink without the key in the ignition. Patriot -- love your car by the way. I have the same set-up in Atlas with Classic wheels.
