every review has the same comments about a rougher ride than the previous model, which was an acceptable daily driver. Also I'm sure they are mostly sugar coating how bumpy it really is, I mean during the videos on the B roads Chris Harris is literally bouncing up and down. I hope they can do something about that for the touring, otherwise I'll be disappointed :( now we wait until May I guess to see what happens next.
Yes, the Touring will be softer. The reason the GT3 has to be nearly twice as stiff as before is to resist the large amount of downforce (385kg or 850 pounds) pressing down on the suspension. The Touring won't have that downforce nor the stiff springs to resist it...
Note to Nick - the RS is going to be MUCH stiffer than the GT3 and really only at home on a circuit...
