I think Russel got a bit overwhelmed by the media hyping him... IMO it was clearly his fault, Bottas didnt even seem to move, he got excited and ran on the wet grass. I dont get his reaction, it was 80% his fault, but nevertheless what was this idiotic reaction???? 
I think he needs to relax... and even more strange was his reaction after he saw the incident on the screen, I would have expected him to say smater than he did...
It seems "we" just need a bit (or more) of rain and the fun multiplies ! 
I think the season started very well and though, no spectators yet, for me, it is very entertaining ... I just think that AM needs another sponsor sporting a very bright color, sometimes I wasn't sure whether VET / STR or BOT / HAM were on the screen ... british racing green is quite dark a color ...

That. I had to check the sponsor logo on the rear wing to be sure who is who there too.
Max has his car and Lewis has his luck this past weekend. One don't win 7 championships without luck. But he doesn't get lucky all the time, or else he would have had 8 now.
He made a mental mistake on overtaking George on the wrong spot, a bit impatient, just proves he is human too. But bet you he won't make the same mistake twice.
Funny thing with all the drama behind Max we barely get any coverage of him running.
Max at P3 to front within 2 corners, great driving , more him than his car right there.
Still stick to what i say, Mad Max , best driver on the grid, along with Russell

He had a great start. That was the key for him to go from 3rd to a position to challenge for the lead, and some great driving got him the lead. Which with a fast car, no one is going to challenge.

Hamilton was lucky to be lured into Mercedes by Nikki and the car was the fastest by far as much as in the Vettel/RB times. LH has great talent no doubt - but those titles would not be there without having such a dominant car and a B-driver. His royal behavior shows when he's overtaken and immediately complains over the radio like in Imola.

Nailed it. I still remember when during RB times, Vettel was touted as one of the greatest in F1 history, even in this forum.

It was luck that the Mercedes turned out to be the best car, and it wasn't when Hamilton switched over from the dominant McLaren. Don't forget, he nearly win 2 championships with a McLaren yet he decided to jump ship. And even after he switched teams he wasn't winning championships yet, Vettel with the Red Bull was winning everything. As a rookie he beat Alonso soundly, who was considered by some as one of the best.
It's a fun circular argument, the best driver would certainly seek out the best car to drive, and the team with the best car would certainly want to sign the best driver they can in order to maximize the chance of winning. Yeah sometimes luck would play a role and a not-so-best driver would win a championship because of the car, see Rosberg, Button, etc. But those are one hit wonders.
We can talk about who gets into what car and if ti's the driver or the car in F1 forever, there would be no end to that discussion. That's why I would rather compare performance in the wet, as that equalizes the cars more or less and it's about the drivers' car control skills.
With that metric, Senna pretty much ranked on top. Prost would dropped down the list, so did Alonso. Schumacher is up there, Hamilton is up there too and Max is one of the best, who can forget how he saved the car at Brazil? It was unreal, not even sure Senna could have done that. Heck, I don't even think Hamilton still have the reflexes to save a car like that.
Hamilton is at the twilight of his career, Max, Norris, Russell is the future faces of F1, future champions.
I like Hamilton as a driver, admire him actually, but that doesn't mean I like him as a person. Personality wise, I much prefer Norris with the playful attitude.
