    nice little Sunday driver

    Anyone ever driven in one of these or seen one in person on the street? I doubt it is US legal so we will not have the chance, but you guys in Europe ought to bump into one every once in a while.

    I live in Holland, but i never saw one.. I even dount there is on ein NL... and those that are around in Europe are probably garage and track queens only I fear.

    Yeah, I doubt even europeans will see those. they cost more than some peoples lives....and will eat up anything out there. Thats one of my favorite cars right there.

    It should be the Dauer 962, a derivative of the LeMans-winning Porsche GroupC cars from the eighties.

    Those cars are about as rare as Bugatti EB110's and I have only seen those once or twice...

    You are correct ferdie. These pics are from the dauer site, now called 962lm.com as i put in my first post. we can all guess the lm designation.

    This what porsche should have made for its exotic and then put the cgt mechanicals in a GT vehicle for 175K without the carbon fiber tub and testy flywheel.
