On this colour, from this angle, with this camera opening, under this lighting, it does not look bad. So if you have access to a similar spot with similar lighting and you only want to look at it from this vantage point... you'd be very happy.
If I get one of these down the line, these comments are going to come back to haunt me.

Sounds one dimensional.
I gave up on how a car looks long ago. Which perfectly explains the Model3.

I happens to be looking at my pile of shit earlier before I flush the toilet. I was thinking the exact same thing................
You might actually like it to be piled in the middle of your living room.

One takes less umbrage with the front design elements since there's a technical reason for it-more efficient cooling-than the weak rear haunches of this car. BMWs were always sinewy when viewed from the rear. The M3 has it while the M4 has gained a much softer look.

DaveGordon:Went for a spin in a friend’s CSL at the weekend. Was a hoot. Sad to see them heading in the opposite direction.

I sent him that link for fun. His reply was not suitable for a polite forum
As far as he is concerned, the DSG is the right box for that car: advanced for the time, durable, integrated with other systems etc etc. Frankly in that car I would prefer a manual. I was looking at E46 M3s recently and personally would not take a DSG one.
