    Aero Kit Cup in February 2005

    In Germany you can order the new aero-kit cup for the 997 at the end of february for 4843,00 incl. VAT. Ordercode is XAA.

    I saw it today on a photo! It looks fantastic. The front bumper looks like the new gt3-cup-bumper and the rear spoiler looks like the gt3 My 2000-one. Very aggressive styling!!

    Maybe i can scan it.

    That could sound like what we saw in the thread "997 GT3" if you remember the pictures of the yellow 997 from pistonheads. Is it the aero kit we saw ???

    haha, that is true, and we are gratefull for it (at least, I am) but hey... we always want MORE!!! BTW; will that (the factr that this is an aerokit) mean that the GT3 will have different looks?

    It was printed in a official Porsche paper,which my dealer showed me.

    Why scanning , the yellow 997 has it. It is the same, i saw!

    It was worth the wait. Well this is then, most likely how the GT3 will look like.
    Not bad at all. Very aggressive front! There's gonna be a lot of front bumper scraping with that!

    To be honest: I hate it. The front isn't that bad but the rear wing... OUCH. It reminds me of the first GT3 series (KF, no offense meant ), I like the GT3 MkII and GT3RS rear wings much more.

    I hope the GT3 doesn't get this thing...would be another reason to go for the 997 Turbo.

    why are they releasing the aerokit before the GT3? does this mean there wont be a GT3?

    does anyone remember the aerokit versus GT3 release schedule back in 2000~?

    In the 996 both the Aerokit Cup and the GT3 came out the same year, 1999.
    So this may mean the GT3 should be out soon (with the aerokit) or the GT3 will not look like the aerokit like it did in the 996, becuase like you say, it would be strange they would release the aerokit not in the same year as the GT3

    There are no words that I can come up with to describe how bad that looks ... if that is what the GT3 is going to look like I feel bad for all of the people who are waiting for it . I hope they get their design act together before the Turbo comes around .

    i think, if no GT3 comes out soon, that means there won't be a GT3 for some time (doesnt look good for the USA getting a 997 GT3, at least not the 997 MK1 GT3.)

    bodes well for 996 GT3 MK2 residuals
