    Poll: How much cheaper should a Boxster Coupe be?

    What do you think about the upcoming new Boxster Coupe pricing?

    lol... WF, I think you'll be shocked... all rumors are saying that the coupe will be more expensive than the standard boxster!

    What you meant to say is a few magazine articles are talking about speccing and pricing above the Boxster.
    Consider those BS.

    How can we answer the second question without knowing the spec of the new car?

    I thought current rumours were higher spec and higher priced than a Boxster.

    i reckon it'll get PASM and 19" wheels as standard to justify a higher price. Don't expect anymore power, just a lighter car so better figures - otherwise it would be getting close to 997 carrera money, once you add some options (leather, navi, sport chrono, bose etc.)

    Martin, would you pay the same money for a coupe as for the roadster if it has similar equipment/engine etc.?
    If not: how much would you like to pay for such a car ?

    I would really have to wait and see what the car is like and what the price is, and then decide.

    If it turned out to be exactly the same as the boxster, but with a fixed roof then i probably wouldnt like to pay as much as the boxster - but i couldnt put a figure on how much less.

    1. the Cayman is priced ABOVE the Boxster
    2. how can you compare two different products?
    3. how can you ask people to vote on a car of which we don't even know the specs yet?

    I heard that Porsche plans to price a Boxster Coupé with 300 HP between Boxter S and Carrera. Introduction 2006.

    Just rumors - but I think it would be clever.

    I heard from my porsche salesman last week that the Cayman or Boxster coupe would be launched in S-form ( technically similar to the boxster S) later this year at a price comparable to the roadster; he told me to take it with a grain of salt since he didn't know anything official yet but confirmed me it won't be anything cheaper. Which disappointed me cause I had expect it to be slightly less expensive and more attractive (to me) than the softtop. so I thought what the other potential buyers might be willing to pay for it. Hence the poll
    I know almost for sure now I will go for a slightly used 997 S in future. Cayman:

    @ #3 RC I thought this forum was ahead of the game compared to the others so Why not do a little poll about a near-future model
