My first experience driving a 2005 Boxster S
I thought i'd write a short review on my new 2005 Boxster S, which i now have since last Wednesday.
First of all let me tell you that i've never ever driven a Porsche before and had only the expectation of a "regular" sportscar with just a special label.... o boy, was i wrong...
When i picked the car up from the dealer the moment was there to start te car myself. The very first thing that i was positively suprised by was the color!!! This Sealgrey color is BEAUTIFUL (even the airintakes are the same color). Then i fell from one beautiful experience into another... for example:
the finish of the dashboard (black, no leather) was of a higher quality then that i expected, and that i had seen before on photo's.
The "figure" of the car is in real life must more styled that you can see on photo's... especially the left and right side of the car.
Finally driving it myself. I will NEVER forget starting this car (first Porsche)... WHAT A GREAT SOUND! I don't know if you get this from any Porsche, but I LOVE IT!!! In any gear you drive you get this beautiful engine noise, right behind you. And believe me if a say.. you're neighours will HEAR you go to work and return home.
Have driven the car for a couple of days now... driving it is a real joy, PASM is really working, Sport button is not something you REALLY need. PCM navigation and multifunction steering wheel works great.
Overall love this car and hope to stay a Porsche addict for years to come.
