Thanks for the pics. Still hard to tell how much camo there is on the rear of the car. Interesting that the article mentions the 2.7 and 3.2 engines. Everyone in the UK seems to be being told that the coupe will only come in 3.4 litre guise (295 bhp) and will cost around Pounds45,000.

Truly interesting. Anyone care to translate?? Looks like it will show in Germany in Sept.

A lot of camo but if a Boxster ever looked similar to a 911, that 987 coupe is it. I thought it would have a somewhat flat horizontal rear hood like the CGT since its mid-engine and no rear seats, and not a fast-back design like the 911. It would look beter, sportier IMO as well

The article also states that due to the yellow brake calipers, for the first time the PCCB will be an option on the Boxster.
The pictures are nice but the information...I don't know.

Theres something very wrong with the design of this car.
Look at the B-post...looks like it could use a window. The triangle area there is so clumsily made, I am sure it's a mock-up of some sort.
Im not sure the hatch is real -check out the hinges and closing mech. Looks awfully cheapo, dunnit?
I think whoever came with the theory, that this might be an SLK-like roof contstruction could be right.
And then again the design could be inspired by the 356=???

If that rear taped window were any bigger, it would look like a Targa. Also, I dont see any hinges or latches - ? It looks to me like the intakes, lights and rear window are taped. As to the folding roof theory, where would it go? There is an engine beneath it. None of the spy pics have picked up anything like a folding roof yet. I think it looks pretty cool as is, maybe even a little evil with that pointed rear window. The normal 356 led to the 911 - can't imagine that Porsche would try to position this car so close to it. There have been a few other mid-engine coupes in Porsche's past, why not another one?
