Since when does Manthey touch the GT2 RS engine? I would be very surprised if they do.
For racing chassis setups, definitely the address to go to.

Manthey do not tune engine.
Did you see in the video that Manthey fit a larger water tank for enhanced cooling?
Good for laps at the Nurburgring and for running in hit climates!

Do you have an engine working with water? no... this tank is an extended one. no tuning on engine. I know Manthey, I visited Manthey...

Now an MR kit on top and you have the ultimate 2 RS.

Josef:This is just nonsense in my view. The beige leather on a GT2 RS does not make sense. The dashboard is way too bright, there will be a lot of reflections in the windscreen. The owner must be someone who has his own money printing machine...
What do you call people owning Chirons etc then?

I just wanted to say that this is a waist of money at least IMHO.
I don't think it's a waste of money, You're into it for $400k or so which is the same price as a nicely optioned 812. And you have something exactly as you want it, as reasonably fast as anything else out there and unique to you. It's still half the price of a Singer at this point...
It's just that it's a new(ish) 911 and no one can wrap their head around a price like that. Porsche could do this directly if they brought back the old Exclusive group. There should be two tiers of Exclusive, regular PTS and stitching etc and the one off with hand painting, bespoke body etc.

Well there is already 2 tiers right now already. The Regular 'Exclusive' options from the options sheet, and special wishes 'CXX' options.
PTS straddle that line, for normal customers, if a PTS color is already on the approved list, it can be done. Those VVVIP however can request colours that's not on the list, have them tested before approving and then those colours will get added to the list for regular folks. One off hand painting can also be done.
LTS leather to sample is another perks for VVVIP, not listed anywhere on Porsche's options list and Exclusive consultants around the world will likely refuse that request outright unless the client in question is already a VVVIP.
Extended extended leather trims is another option. Porsche can and will leather line frunks, trunks, rear shelves, etc. Basically any places one cannot spec leather via the regular process. Call it the In-N-Out secret menu items.
While Porsche have expanded the Exclusive department, the increased man power are mostly for their production "Exclusive' options. The special wishes department remains a tiny operation and can only do a very limited cars a year and they are packed with jobs already.
I really don't see them going back to the 'old' Exclusive way, where 'anything' is possible, inside or out. They are too big for that now.

I agree. All. this leather is the complete antithesis of what the GT2RS is about. More money than sense as usual. Now a Manthey makeover that makes complete sense and fits with the purpose of the car. I have seen the car in person and .

It makes you wonder how a person having this abomination done to a GT2 has the wherewithal to have the financial resources to get this done. Clearly, money doesn't discriminate against stupidity.
A good memory is fine but the ability to forget is the one true test of greatness.
