    Cayenne V6 - Vancouver, Canada

    Hello Everyone, I'm new to this board. I'm planning to purchase a Cayenne V6 in the very near future. However, I just have couple of questions hoping you "already" Cayenne owners can help me.

    1) Were discount available on the Cayenne V6?
    2) How much does the routine maintenace cost in Canada?
    3) If ordering a to build to your specs, how long did you have to wait?

    Welcome to Rennteam!

    I think discounts are available but it varies greatly by region. It also makes a difference if you're buying off the lot or ordering.

    The first routine maintenance you need is an oil change at 20k miles. I don't recall what I paid. You might ask your dealer what they charge.

    It seems like I waited about three months after I placed an order. It took about two weeks to build once they started and about two weeks in shipping.

    Just done over 5000 in my V6 and the dash tells me a service is due in 1100.
    The handbook says that this engine needs an oil change at 6000

    hey. i got my CS from MCL,, with discount of $4000 dollars. My friend helped me with this, normally they pretty hard to bargain. by the way, V6 is not something u expected... if the price is what u concern,,i suggest u to get VW toureg V8. same cost... u get more.ALSO. i am not 100% happy with the service from MCL....

    really???? 6000K for oil change??? that is not possible... my one is 20000K but i will do it around 10000K

    The V6 relies on the central display to advise oil changes when they are neccessary. I have heard from a couple of people that the dealer PDIing the vehicle may not have set they display properly, resulting in a message appearing sooner than it should. I spoke with techs at my local dealer and was told to expect about 10-12K intervals for oil service. They also pointed out that the maintenance book says an oil change is needed after only 6000 miles in countries where leaded fuel is used.

    I'm in the UK and we use unleaded. The handbook makes no mention of this either.

    Well i have to say Oil change varies by region. We use 98 Octane unleaded fuel here in kuwait and tempratures reach 55 Celsius in the summer, reccomended oil changes by porsche are every 10,000 Kms, but if you have a turbo you have to top of the oil every 2500 kms too.
