Are supposedly lighter than the mechanical ones (so car should be faster) and also faster acting. And if the dealer was right you should also be able to adjust the balance according to driving conditions.
That last thing sounds like the system in the Evo, and maybe not a million miles away from the Ferrari 430's "Manettino". Another setting for Sport Chrono perhaps? Now maybe the Sports Exhaust could be linked to Sports Chrono as well...

Not necessarily true.....There have been a total of 2302 996 C4S coupes and cabs sold YTD 2004 (thru December) verses 2455 996 C2 coupes and cabs sold in the same period. Add to this the 2250 997 and 997S C2 models sold and that adds up to a total of 4705 C2's sold. In the total 911 line including Turbo, GT3 and GT2 there were 4174 all wheel drive versions sold verses 5480 two wheel drive versions (YTD thru December). These are sales figures for the USA. Worldwide totals could be different.
