Nick, nobody is telling you not to speak your mind, you can do honest constructive criticism as other people do here (including myself, I have always spoken my mind here). But thats not the issue, its the "campaingning", the repetition over and over of the same thing even coming out of contex, the sarcasm, exagerations and all the demagoguery that has no reason except for something other than simply trying to express an opinion.
If you just stick to being objective and constructive, no one will mind any negative comments.
Carlos I know you mean well but what you interpret as "compaigning, exgaerations, demagoguery" (sic) I view as constructive. But what is motivating me to stop my "constructive negative views"
is people who spend over $100,000 for a car do not want to hear negative comments regarding that car. You all have worked hard to achieve the financial security to be able to afford it.
Many on this board have ordered a new Porsche and will be taking delivery in the near future. I honestly feel the exhilaration when people write about imminent delivery of their new Porsche. Why should I deflate that feeling.
On the other hand, I must weigh my comments regarding those who have not made the purchase and want to hear both sides. This presented a real dilemma for me and in the end I decided people will find out what they need to know in deciding from better sources than me.
Make no mistake. I plan to remain part of this board but in a different capacity. I will not kiss up to Porsche, Ferrari or any other car manufacturer. If my 430 is a bust you will be the first to hear. Hopefully we will know in a couple months.
