    Sounds very nice

    Have you seen/tried the XPA option? on 996 seemed to be a nice addition but I have heard the sports steering wheel that comes with the 997 seems to work just fine.

    Runaway from the Speed Yellow seat belts. Colored seat belts are starting to look very dated.

    Combine the savings from deleting the yellow seat belts
    and the carbon fiber rear console to spend on activating
    the NAV instead.

    Yes, it is a no cost option to give you the standard black gauges if you don't want the aluminum look gauges that come standard on the 997S.

    Thought about getting black dials. They didn't seem to be the a rich deep black like earlier models.

    Have 997S w/sports steering wheel....it's decent...but am very much looking forward to XPA thicker wheel I ordered for my 996TTS....would definitely advise to get thicker wheel if option available.

    If it's like the one available for the 996 it's too thick and you lose a lot of road feel. Fine for track work if you're wearing gloves though.

    Agree- you lose some of that fine , sublime 911 road feel when a thicker ( more absorbant ) steering wheel is used . I've driven a couple friends stock Turbos with the RUF and the factory thicker streering wheel and my car with it's stock thin wheel felt more " alive " in my hands especially in the fingertips afterwards . The thicker wheels look good, though. Sorta like the 19 " wheels on 996s- they look good, but from the drivers seat, again, you lose some road finesse. The more feel you lose that Porsche feel in the hands , the more the car feels like the German competition's current crop of fast sedans when rolling straight down the road, IMO.

    Noticed you're in Miami. rear window wiper seems unnecessary (better suited for snow). Consider deleting. Doesn't look great, more weight etc.
