    997S Seal Grey is HERE!!! Pictures!!! 56k = NO


    Hey, my dad just got his 997S in!!! Im so excited and so is he! I spent almost my whole monday detailing it at the dealer and helping him pick it up! Oh man is it a nice car. We decided that I would detail it instead of the dealer so i could take really good care of it. The dealer is Byers Imports in Columbus Ohio. They were a great dealer, very nice, much better than MAG (much better).

    The FINAL price after taxes etc, was $80,000.00 for a 997S Seal grey, adaptive sport seats, sportchrono, porsche lettering mats, heated seats, and BOSE system... i think that covers it all, so yeah my dad got a great deal!

    Here are some pictures for you guys to enjoy, I will be finishing the detail job now in the garage at home when i get my new products from carcareonline.com but it looks pretty good right now, I just gotta do a few small things (I used ONEGRAND Blitz wax, i will use P21S later.)

    thanks! it is great, oh and for the bit i got to drive it i thought the steering ( i didnt drive it much) was really good, i was a bit skeptical about the variable steering, but it was really cool!

    That looks fantastic. Jeez, that's a hell of a deal. Mine was MSRP and with taxes $93K......oh well. I paid to be the first kid on the block with one Enjoy!!

    is anyone else getting this good of a discount (or any for that matter) from a build-to-spec car? my dealer won't give any off my car which i ordered. he offered me a discount for one in stock, but if i'm going to spend this much, i want it exactly like i want it. so, anyone able to buy below msrp on a 997s they ordered?

    just gotta deal, and i guess living in OHIO helps, beechmont porsche offered us like 81,000 for the same options then BYERS upped them by offering us 80,000 and the rest is history

    Maybe he's referring to the blurriness of the photos, which is what I noticed aswell.

    This brought back lots of memories of the day I picked up my first grey 911 (all my others were white) from the dealer. It was 1967, I was 18 and got to do the whole deal for my father, who was traveling. Picking up your first Porsche -- even a family car -- is a great experience.
