    996 vs 997

    Can someone answer from experience with both cars if there is a significant advance in driving dynamics of the 997 over the 996? (ie, more fun to drive) I am trying to decide if it makes more sense to buy a leftover '04 996 or an '05 997. I am trying to balance less cost and likely more reliablility against advances of the new model. ... I'm getting too old to wait for Porsche to get the bugs out of the 997.

    There are dozens of reviews available comparing the two cars, many ahave been scanned and are available in this forum, have a search through, but the answer seems to be that it is worth it (I have never driven a 996 for an appreciable amount of time to give a proper opinion)
