I love how they're always thinking out of the box. I just can't imagine a/the market for it...

Not a bit surprising that the top exiting exhaust system is used on another hybrid hyper car. Porsche went to that layout to remove a heat source from the battery pack and Koenigsegg has the same issues.

Beautiful and interesting car, definitely the first Koenigsegg i would want to have (not that I can afford it

The Bentley is a surprisingly good all rounder in this latest generation.
I’ve been swamped last two weeks so have not caught up with the “non Geneva show” hype. Having seen a video of the Gemera now it beats me why we are not getting the usual this is an elongated or bloated version of x model. In this case any other Koenigsegg design. In the Top Gear video Christian K references a Phantom - which happens to be a fraction of the price and much more comfortable......and a lot slower, I know. This car is still a half way house - not fully electric and compromised in its ICE. That’s even before considering the price. I’ll have a Turbo S in Saffron Yellow from all the releases I have been through so far and a used 765 LT in due course

The current Bentley is indeed a proper good GT car. I simple can't bring myself to buying a brand that represent the step before death though.
Literally all the gangsters and rappers that buy Bentleys don't live long, nor the other people that I see driving around in them everyday, they all looked like they already had their coffin measured and made.
If VAG is smart, rebadge that car as a Audi, or even jack up the price and be an entry level Bugatti. Think they will sell more. Heck I could see myself buying one if it's a entry level Bugatti with the French styled interior and finishing.
As for that Koenigsegg, I would buy a Phantom, hire a chauffeur to drive me around instead. Heck, I can have Rolls Royce customized it to the max and still come out cheaper.

Right, it is not meant to be just another same old same old with reasonable price and practicality, its supposed to be an innovative thinking out of the box concept, exciting inside and outside, outrageously powered and with a pricetag to match for only a handful of people... and mission accomplished imo, kudos to Koenigsegg.

As someone who is presumably part of the target market - not accomplished IMHO.

Well I can definitely see it's not to everybody liking, being such a unorthodox concept, is going to be one of those that you either love it or hate it.

Practical and realistic? Probably not, but at least it’s an interesting exercise into something new. And for that I have to commend them.
If they had been brave enough to make it a full Kamm back, it could have been a nouveau Espada....
