hunterone:yes i know RC but the back with the rear wing and snorkel looks plain ugly and overdone.
I haven't seen the car without camouflage, so I'll wait until I see it live. I didn't like the Peformante in the beginning either, the rear wing looked weird on photos but live, the car looks much better in my opinion.

the-missile:RC:Rossi:Definitely no ALA...
Car is supposed to be much lighter, also track focused.
and cheap
Yeah...very cheap. So cheap that I cannot afford it.
First rumor was slightly over 300k base price, last rumor was slightly under 300k base price.
Dealer thinks that base price will be 29x000 EUR (incl. 19% VAT) but a Lambo rep I met once a couple of weeks ago mentioned something about a 3 in front of the price tag. We'll see.
Car will be much lighter (100 kg minimum vs the Evo), power up to 670 hp max. With some luck, no particulate filter because it is still "based" on the Evo. Very likely only RWD. Also, finally...room for helmet, harness, etc.. Optional available even from the factory as far as I heard.
Car will be limited in production but I haven't heard any numbers yet.

Rossi:I guess they can only achieve the 100 kg minimum weight reduction if the change from AWD to RWD.
It could be even more than 100 kg...no comfort stuff, no AWD, no ALA, more lighter materials, etc.
Not so sure about the power though, another rumor indicated only 650 hp.
I have to say that I do not get Lamborghini: They could easily attach a supercharger to the car, boosting power easily to over 700 hp. The supercharger kits for the V10 engine are well known for their reliability and the V10 engines are reliable as well. Don't tell me Lamborghini couldn't do this. Maybe they didn't do it because of emissions issues or whatever but since the sound stays almost the same, I think superchargers would be great. Since I'm not an engineer though, maybe I missed something.

Apparently 150 kg less than Evo, meaning over 100 kg less than Performante. Just got this in... Pretty impressive if true. Also, power is supposed to be the same, 640 hp.

well supercharger will require another full homologation for the car. it is messy...lengthy and costly. VW is not into the mood of spending more on CO2 stuff.
now RWD, harness, helmet all in the same sentence with Huracan...

Yeah, probably not worth it but it would really be amazing to get everything the Performante already does plus 100 hp more.

True.
I just hope that Lamborghini steps up their game with the next generation, the next gen Aventador will make it clear if they do...or not. For the price range of the Aventador, the performance should be better in my opinion. Soon the Ferrari SF90 will be available and all manufacturers, even McLaren, should be worried. This is really an amazing offer from Ferrari and if the performance is as good as suspected...wow.

Dane:Rossi:New spy pics of the forthcoming Huracán EVO STO, presentation apparently August:
August is over
Any news on this topic? Introduction still this year?
Introduction was always scheduled for end of this year but I do not know if they can keep up the time table.
The car is definitely coming but could be sold out even before it makes to the dealers, depending on the production numbers. My dealer is getting two (I think) but as far as I understood, they are already sold. Demand seems to be high, could go down though if Lamborghini doesn't keep this car limited to 500 pieces or less.
