How can humans do that to animals? I am not really a particular animal lover, never had an animal (other than my daughter a turtle, which died and it was a drama for my kid) but I cannot even imagine hurting any kind of peaceful animal, this is insane. Smiley

She escaped and IndiLabRescue.Org rescued her from the pound and Daddy nursed her back to happiness in a loving family. Then cancer struck and the trauma of major surgery, now cancer again.

I know this sounds far fetched but the cancer may have been induced by the psychological and physical stress poor Seneca endured being beaten and tortured. Such a beautiful creature, so sad to hear what she went through and now this terrible illness...so sad. Smiley

I admire people like you who have the compassion and patience to take care of such animals, they certainly have a wonderful life now and I can only hope that when her time is coming up, she will pass away with a feeling of warmth and love. She deserves this feeling after what she went through, poor thing.

This is our life! wink

Spring means mud on the roads Way Back In to the skiing jump offs. The beauty of mud is it washes off! But there's no point in laboriously cleaning it to just renew the mud the next day, and twice a year is enough to wash don't you guys agree? smiley

The RR goes for service in 1100 miles, so we'll let the detailer at the dealer deal with it, and service will install the new armrest. Voila, all clean for one day. It's 50 F today so shorts again, and in a month we can turn on the outside water with out it freezing at night, and then the cars just might get washed....... occasionally cool

Seneca is still retrieving! Even with the cancer drop gut. She loves the East Fork of the So, Woody River out back. And only 50 feet for Daddy to get her inside, toweled off, in front of the fire to stop her shivering.

Haha, She gets Elk meat daily, plus her herbs from her Karmic Vet Heidi, plus Prednisone - Pred 'til you're dead, an old vet saying - plus ProPlan Sport food plus GF liver and steak and sweet potatoe and broccoli.... and most sorry to say, now Gabepentin for pain..... Smiley

Accupuncture and Wim Hof in the ice cold River, Eric is right, it helps.

Plus in the River, she's close to where she will climb the Stairsteps to Heaven laugh
