    F430 official MSRP in germany

i just received a letter from my dealer with the official F430 pricing (for germany)

    F430 EUR 138,700.-- (incl VAT)
    F430 F1 EUR 146,000.-- (incl VAT)

Re: F430 official MSRP in germany

same for switzerland received the letter today.

    F430 CHF 210'000.00 (incl. 7.6% TAX)
    F430 F1 CHF 220'500.00 (incl. 7.6% TAX)

So the german car is a bit cheaper than the swiss car!!!

have you decided the colour yet?

And also the sport exhaust is not on the list.
CS rins costs CHF 3050.00 (incl. TAX)
    No other new options.

not finally. but because of the problems with white, my current favorite color is the quite boring (but good looking ) grigio titanio with grey interior, just like the car from the official pictures...

Now that's a lot better than what we heard before.
Ferrari probably found out about the specs of the 997 Turbo and it's price tag, so they couldn't go up much higher.

Re: F430 official MSRP in germany

and how much extra for CF brakes and CS wheels????

Well at least Porsche is good for something.

Watt the carbon brakes are rumored to be close to $15,000. That's Nuts!

I have ordered mine yesterday, I took the carbon brakes, and asked the dealer for prices, he had no prices, but said it would be no more than 10,OOO euro

Re: F430 official MSRP in germany

In switzerland the off. price for the carbon brakes are
    CHF 20'500 (incl. 7.6% TAX).

So I think in germany the price will be more than
EUR 13'000. So about 50% more than the ones by a porsche.

Yeah, but by the time you get done replacing the Porsche's after a few K miles, the Fcar's ones probably start to look cheap.

Re: F430 official MSRP in germany

f430 in lebanon is priced usd 275000 us$ including customs.first cars arrives in december

Re: F430 official MSRP in germany

    good guess, beany

the carbon brakes are EUR 13,340.-- in germany

Re: F430 official MSRP in germany

    completley crazy.... 13.340... wow...

Re: F430 official MSRP in germany

I guess somebody has gotta pay schumachers wage...

Re: F430 official MSRP in germany

13k for the CCM brakes is surely insane. At least I was right with my price guess of appr. 137k for the manual, plus 8k for the F1 respectively.
In other words that an increase of 7% compared to the 360. For 90 hp and 100 Nm more that seems to be fair.

    indeed.

but this makes the decision -- go for carbon brakes or not? -- quite easy

    I took them .... should I regret this ??
Dealer told me that the price would be NO higher than 1Oth, I hope I can believe him, but I think it will be higher

They seem to brake better, .... I only tought that they would brake 'longer' better, but all the 'test drives' seems to talk about better braking

What is the real truth ?????
Hope there will be soon a test between the steel brae system and the carbon ones

I think the CCM brakes are nothing to regret, but I think the price is just way too high.
I would consider them, if they were priced as the Porsche PCCB or slightly above. Originally it was said, they will be close to 10k (still more than enough for that feature IMO). The brakes of the Handling GTC Package of the 575M are said to account for appr. half of the price, that means slightly above 10k. Now they are bigger (380 vs. 360 at the front if I remember correctly) and now Ferrari tries to tell us, the F430 CCM should be worth 13.3k? If that price should be correct, I think it's all about marketing and Ferrari tries to make as much money out of it (and they probably suceed ).

Anyway, I also hope for a comparision steel vs. CCM. Standard brakes, although same in diameter as 360, are said to be improved as well.

Re: F430 official MSRP in germany

CCM brakes are great. Better braking, longer better braking and believe or not... for most Porsche customer (as a friend out of Porsche Marketing told me).. number one reason to buy.... you will never get dusty rims again (for me... this is a buying option, too - but not for 13k).

    cheers, L@rs

Exactly, it's a highly interesting buying option, but not for 13 grand. According to the Brembo web site, they expect 15000 units per year in 2006, so the prices should fall. BTW, Daimler Chrysler holds a 50-percent share in Brembo Ceramic Brake Systems SpA.
