    Service Actions - Air Con

    Be aware that the new aircon controller being fitted when the service action calls for it comes with a BLACK slide cover in place of the SILVER one, when questioned, "thats the way it comes was the answer".

    Is this the little curved door that goes over the 'air to...' buttons with PORSCHE written on it?

    yes, its now black with silver letters

    Thanks Mick. You read my mind on the lettering.

    If I'm picturing this correctly, I just don't see a black door with the aluminum or standard trim. That has to look a bit funny. Then again, I keep mine open most of the time so it's black any way.

    With the wood trim, I wish they'd do the cover in wood to match with an aluminum 'handle' like they do on the cup holder cover.

    Is this an across the board service action? Do all the 'buttons' get swapped out too?

    Thanks for the pic. I'm going to have to look at it some more.

    I think I'd be fine with it if they had done the handle in silver/aluminum.

    With your black interior it blends. Are they also doing black for the folks with other color interiors?
