I did not know we was a silver driver. I just know one of the drivers, he just started to drive these cars and was in the middle field. The race itself was fun and specailly the guys in front did not hold back at all. But how does this work if you look to the names all cars are run by real racing teams like Mathey etc. It thougth these were private cars? Will you also have these types of races on your continent?

As far as I know, everyone is racing their own car, except Chris Hoy who is in a 'rental' from Porsche, hence it was entered as a Porsche AG entry.
Had I decided to take up their offer for an early GT2RS CS, I would have been in the field, and very like it will be entered as Porsche Racing Experience by Manthey Racing if I don't arrange my own support team.
One would call the GT2 Supersportscar race an exhibition race right now, as Porsche is the only manufacturers out of all that had signed up to have a car ready. Well SRO created the new class around the GT2RS Clubsport, just like they did with the GT4 class with the GT4 Clubsport.
Officially, the GT2 class season starts in 2020, in Europe. Not sure if the talks resulted in anything yet for North America.
But the car is eligible to race in North America in Porsche Club of America races and also Porsche Owners Club races. And of course it is eligible to do Pikes Peak too.

That was a really cool race to watch, loved the look of Perfetti's 935. I wonder if there would be a pace difference between 935's and GT2 CS, aero should be quite different?

Properly not enough to negate driving ability.
Perfetti had an early battle with Sofronas who is in the GT2RS Clubsport. But too ad his car lost power and faded away.
