He actually was a pretty nice guy (Shmee also a Tim here with my buddy Tim):

Big props to him for 1) even taking his Ford GT on the Ring at all and 2) posting up the video for thousands to critique his driving.
Looks like you guys are having a lot of fun out there, cheers.

I've heard of ducktail Porsches, but never duckbills.... (Porker's new exhaust mutes) !
But seriously, how would you like a matching yacht? Italian not German, but still.... would be a great set... Only ~EUR 12M or so... (Cantiere della Marche for those who must know)

HANS: I don't use HANS but Hybrid. Works well for me.
Some say HANS is problematic with Porsche seats because the head get's pushed forward a bit by the seat.
I suspect that this is individual so if you can test the HANS in your own car.
Some also claims that HAS requires a different seat to have proper side impact protection.

Thanks Kobalt - do you use the Simpson Hybrid Sport?

Since this is "Porker's" thread, I thought I'd post a pick of the Pink Pig I got to drive on Porsche's Leipzip track (also 991.2 GT3 Manual) :.

No I got the PRO-Lite: https://simpson-europe.com/sv/hybrid/hybrid-pro-lite.html
I got it when I was in the US so it was a bit cheaper than here in Europe. I think I got it because it at that point had more sideways movement of the head.
Anyway: It works fine for me: Easy to get in and out of car and it does not interfere with the seat.
Haven't crash tested it yet so on that point I'm luckily unaware. :-)
blueflame:Very cool pics
Itˋs not clearly visible...do you use a H.A.N.S. -System with your helmet?
Because of my neck surgery I‘m thinking about getting the „Performance Hans 3“.
Has anyone experience on this topic for trackdays.
Sorry for OT and thanks

I don't but I should! I tried Trakcar's system once and indeed found my neck/head tilted forward too much by the seat, I would need to find a solution for that.

CGX car nut:Porker, that first photograph of your car is stunning. When you first mentioned the color, I wasn't sold on it but I must compliment you on your tastes.
Thank you sir!

@porker
I´m late to the party, but nevertheless: a big congrats on your car! It looks stunning, and even tho that color truly is a possible dealbreaker for many, I happen to love it.
Also, that Karussel pic is awesome. Really captures the speed and force of that corner
I actually got so inspired by your car that I took the liberty of making a graphic version of it. I hope that´s ok
From a 3D model to a 2D rendering > I think I got most of the details right, but chose to leave out things like the dealer name, small stickers etc.
Anywho, use it as a screensaver for your phone - or not :D
Hope you enjoy.
