    BMW Individual Colors

    I was just looking at BMW's Individual visualizer, and it looks to me that several of the colors they offer are other manufacturers' colors, and they carry the names given to them by these other manufacturers. I see Porsche colors (e.g., Riviera, Mexico, Miami blues, Signal green), a Lamborghini color (Verde Mantis), etc. 

    Kind of surprising, as I assumed these color names would be copyrighted.

    Not sure paint names can be copyrighted...or maybe the OEM paint manufacturer owns the copyrights?
