    FWIW, I can get more compliments on my RS than any car I have ever owned. And I have owned a lot of cars which generated considerable attraction. FWIW, I had a hesitancy about the RS because of the large wing but Porsche has managed to build it the right size for the rest of the car.kiss

    Regarding the Valkyrie, my understanding is they will be build 150 for private ownership and I believe another 25-50 for track use. Does anyone doubt the private ownership cars will be 3.5 million dollar garage queens? Yet, I have some on this site criticizing me for not tracking my RS. Envy is sweet.broken heart

    My opinion only, but I found the 991 / 981 generation cars don't become that fun until you start pushing them a bit, which you cannot do too often on the street.  I imagine the frustration only gets worse the faster the car.  All this to say, I'm sure driving this Valkerie on the street is still quite the experience, but you are only scratching the surface without going to the track.  That said, given the craftsmanship of the car, it makes for a pretty good garage queen too.

    No, a buddy of mine in collecting a GT3 Touring in Leipzig and I am going along.  I was able to get a few perks from Porsche as well (free GT3 Driving Experience and hotel), as additional compensation for my last ED trip where I was unable to drive my own car (given a 911.2 TT loaner instead).

    (all with instructors aside bar the formel car of course)

    Aston Martin’s ‘Son Of Valkyrie’ Hypercar Will Do The Norse Gods Proud









    Aston Martin has published the first teaser image of its upcoming 003 hypercar, affectionately known as ‘Son of Valkyrie.’
    The all-new vehicle will slot below the Valkyrie in Aston Martin’s range but slot above the automaker’s impending rival to the Ferrari 488 GTB and McLaren 720S. Based off what we can see in this picture and rumoured specifications about the 003, the car should offer performance similar to what the LaFerrari and Porsche 918 Spyder did a few years ago.


    Speaking of powertrains, Aston Martin chief executive Andy Palmer confirmed that the car will use a V6 turbo hybrid powertrain in September 2018. The company hasn’t said how much power the 003 will have but we expect at least 800 hp and up to 1000 hp. The hypercar will also be exceptionally light and capable of some truly extraordinary performance feats, even if it can’t lap a circuit as fast as an F1 car like the Valkyrie AMR Pro.


    Production of the vehicle will be capped at just 500 units globally with a market arrival expected for late 2021. The car will be fully homologated and available in all markets and sold in left- and right-hand drive configurations. According to reports, it could be called ‘Valhalla’.
